Congratulations to the Marching Eagles for their 4th place finish at the 2A Upperstate Championship this past Saturday at Boiling Springs High School.  Of course you all know that this means we'll be making the trip once again to Batesburg-Leesville on October 25.  If at all possible, please try to make the trip and support the Marching Eagles.  Performance time is 7:00 P.M.  I have posted a full schedule for Saturday.

From I-26 East take Exit 72 and go into Newberry.  Take Hwy. 76 to Prosperity, then Hwy. 391.  The School is on Hwy. 391 on your left.

Friday    3:15-5:00 (full band)

 

We will not be attending the game on Friday night.  Enjoy the night off, and get plenty of rest for this Saturday!

 

The Marching Eagles won 1st place in Class AAA at the Wilbur F. Smith Invitational on Saturday, October 11, 2003.  Congratulations guys!

 

 

Congratulations to the Marching Eagles for winning best drumline, best hornline, best drum major, 1st place, and class A/AA Grand Champions this past Saturday at the Royal Regiment Tournament of Bands.  This marks the 3rd Grand Champion award for the band in the last three years.  I will post full results from the competition as soon as I can.

 

I believe I speak for everyone in the CHS band family when I say that we would like to wish Mr. Garrett a very happy birthday on September 25, 2003. 

 

Congratulations to the Marching Eagles for finishing 2nd in their class at the Boiling Springs festival of bands.  The band scored a 90.7, and also received best drum major in Class III.  Click here for full results from the contest.
